Old Charlie has been in the Bait & Tackle business for just about as long as folks
can remember. Why he was even here long before that new fangled steam locomotive
laid tracks right along side his snug little harbor. Of course, that wasn't all bad
cause it has certainly brought in more fishermen causing Charlie's business to
boom. Charlie has even been able to add a first class restaurant to the pier that
sell sodi-pop and ice cream. He even finds a reasnable demand for the upstairs
apartment, and at $3.00 per night it adds quite handsomely to his income.

Down the road a piece from Charlie's place there's this new state-of-the-art Electrical Repay Cabinet. They
say that them steam locomotives and even those new fangled diesel engines (I like to call them "Honkers")
need more and more electrical signals to run on the tracks so they don't run into each other.
Myself, I'm just getting comfortable with my old Tin Lizy. As long as them locomotives don't run into Lizy it's
okay by me. I even hear say they're going to install something called a Stop and Go light down on main street.

Over at Hayward Junction they got so many trains coming through that thay out grew all their signals and switches.
I hear their planning to build a new Electrical Control Cabinet. It's suppose to be able to handle as many as ten trains
coming throught the junction in one day. Can you imagine that? That many trains in one day! We ain't got that many cars
in the whole county. Next thing you know they'll be putting in them crossing gates to keep the train from hitting the
cars. Ya won't see me given way to one of them locos.
